Step-by-Step Guide: How to Use Aimersoft DVD Copy Aimersoft DVD Copy allows you to back up your favorite DVD movies to your computer or another disc. It bypasses CSS encryption to create exact 1:1 copies quickly. Follow this guide to copy your DVDs in just a few clicks. Prerequisites A computer running Windows or macOS. A built-in or external DVD drive. The Aimersoft DVD Copy software installed. A source DVD disc. A blank DVD disc (if copying disc-to-disc). Step 1: Launch the Program and Load the DVD Insert your source DVD into the optical drive. Open Aimersoft DVD Copy on your computer. Click the Source drop-down menu at the top. Select your DVD drive to load the movie. Step 2: Choose Your Output Target Locate the Target drop-down menu. Select your preferred output format: DVD Drive: Select this to burn directly to a blank disc.
DVD Folder: Saves an uncompressed VIDEO_TS folder to your hard drive.
ISO Image File: Creates a single disc image file for easy playback or future burning. Step 3: Select the Copy Mode
Choose one of the three available copy modes based on your needs:
Full Movie: Copies the entire disc, including menus, trailers, and special features.
Main Movie: Extracts only the actual movie file, stripping away previews and menus to save space.
Custom Mode: Allows you to manually select specific titles, chapters, audio tracks, and subtitles to copy. Step 4: Configure Output Settings
Set the Output Type to match your blank media (DVD-9 for dual-layer or DVD-5 for standard single-layer). Type a name for your disc in the Volume Label field.
If saving to your computer, click the browse icon next to Save to to select your destination folder. Step 5: Start the Copy Process Click the large Start button in the bottom right corner.
Monitor the progress bar as the software reads and copies the data.
If you selected a disc-to-disc copy with only one drive, the program will prompt you to eject the original movie and insert a blank disc once the reading phase finishes.
